Thanksgiving has a way of slowing life down just enough for us to notice the moments we often rush past. It’s the familiar sound of chairs scraping across the floor as everyone finds their place at the table, the laughter that fills the room before the first plate is even passed, and the quiet comfort of being surrounded by the people who have shaped our lives.
Thanksgiving always brings back memories of full kitchens and fuller hearts, kids running barefoot , someone sneaking an early taster of the yummy bread, and the stories that have been told so many times they’ve become part of the family’s fabric. These moments, simple as they are, remind us of what truly matters: connection, tradition, and the joy of simply being together.
This season, we’re grateful for the chance to make new memories while cherishing the old ones. Time with family whether loud and lively or peaceful and reflective is a gift we never take for granted.
