We decided to move to a bigger more fitting house, because nothing says strong marriage like testing it with heavy furniture and questionable communication. Thankfully, we still had both boys at home to do the lifting while we supervised like professionals.
Isaiah graduated, turned 18, and became a certified personal trainer. Which is fantastic because apparently if you have been married for 20 years it comes with joint pain and random noises when standing. After all Lynsee is well over 40 and Nathan is almost 40.
Eli completely changed course and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, brought an Alexandria into the family, and is almost 18.
Marriage lesson: you blink and your kids are adults… with opinions.
So many family gatherings. So many memories. So many adult conversations. So many laughs. So many family dinners.
We brought in the new year with family games, quality time, and betting on fake horse racing that gets way too competitive for people who love each other. Christmas decorations came down; America decorations went up immediately because… Merica!!
Still married. Still laughing. Marriage is cool.
