Marriage is Cool™ because… Emotions.
When the world, work, and life hit hard, there is no stronger support system than marriage. It’s the place you land when everything else feels heavy.
It’s getting to prioritize very specific moments for very specific family time, like unapologetically stuffing your face with fancy, sugary, frosted cronuts, because weekends are sacred and togetherness is the whole point.
It’s chilling together as much as possible, even when the dogs somehow manage to take up all the physical space around Mom. Still, you’re together. Always.
It’s trying new things as not-young people, like putting on a VR headset while “mountain climbing,” knowing full well you can feel the floor, yet still getting that weird stomach drop. And of course, someone is always there to capture the embarrassing moment for eternity.
It’s walking down memory lane together when you realize you’ve got a 19-year-old landing big-boy jobs and a 17-year-old gearing up for the Air Force. You don’t walk through those memories alone, you do it side by side, remembering how fast it all went.
And finally, it’s adapting to life with a large klepto dog who steals clothes, inspiring a brand-new household tradition: “You steal it, you wear it.” Also, Cudo Lou loves that one of his boys has a girlfriend. 😉 be sure to check out Cudo’s new bikini in the video. Episode 1 has officially aired.
