Week 6: Marriage is Cool™ because… shenanigans.
Your kids have friends over for crazy game nights, and you laugh hysterically with pride at just how funny they are.
Like when thumbs have to fight to intense music… or Isaiah fully commits to acting like a dog.. or Eli focuses on transforming into a ballerina...
When you watch your husband and two adult-ish children blow their belly buttons with compressed air… because apparently that’s a thing.
When storms hit, you get to watch your kids shoveling near record-setting snow and dig out cars, then —take their shirts off— jump into a pile of snow when it’s stupid-temps outside.
And best of all, when the state shuts down for three days because of winter storms… you get locked in with your best friend.
No plans.
No agendas.
No work to complete
Just time together, filling each other's buckets, being grateful, feeling blessed, and realizing how cool marriage really is.
